Carlo Silini
Carlo Silini was born in Mendrisio, he graduated in theology in Freiburg. For many years a columnist and editor-in-chief of Corriere del Ticino, he is editor-in-chief of the weekly magazine Action. In 2005 he won the «Swiss Journalist of the Year» award from the Schweizer Journalist magazine. In 2015 and 2017 he won the Swiss Press Award, in two different categories.
In 2015 he made his debut as a writer with Il ladro di ragazze, remaining for months at the top of the best-selling books in Switzerland. In 2019 he released the sequel Latte e sangue. While the adventure of the opera Maddalena was starting, he completed the trilogy with the novel Le ammaliatrici.
